What is the Open Access Cash ISA?

The Moneybox Open Access Cash ISA is a Cash ISA offering an interest rate of 4% AER (variable), including a bonus rate of 0.75% for the first 12 months.

The account can be managed via our website or mobile app, and has a minimum first deposit of £1. You can pay in up to £20,000 per tax year, and this limit is shared between any other ISAs or Lifetime ISAs you hold. Any interest you earn is completely tax free.

Interest is calculated on a daily basis and is paid into your Cash ISA monthly. All balances in your Open Access Cash ISA earn interest, however, transferred-in balances earn the standard underlying interest rate rather than the bonus interest rate, unless we tell you otherwise.

Unlike our Cash ISA, there are no restrictions on the number of withdrawals you can make.

You can view the rate you’ll receive on transferred money in the app by heading to Settings > Transfer in an existing ISA, or on the website via Home > Cash ISA/Open Access Cash ISA > Transfer in an existing ISA
