Changing your details

I want to change my Direct Debit linked bank account

If you’ve switched banks using the Current Account Switching Service, your bank account will automatically update, so you don’t need to change your bank details in the app.

If you do need to manually change your linked bank account, you can do this in the Moneybox app in Settings > Tap your name > Bank accounts > Linked account > Request to edit details

Once you’ve entered your new bank details in the app, we’ll verify these and your new Direct Debit should be active within 3-5 working days, and you’ll receive an email to let you know your new mandate is set up. Occasionally we’ll also need a bit more information before the switch can be approved, such as a recent bank statement – we’ll be in touch via the in-app chat or email should that happen!

Please note it’s only possible to set up a Direct Debit with a UK current account, and we aren’t able to link credit, savings, or business accounts.
